New photos

Mon May 19, 2008, 9:46 AM
My most recent photos are from the British Wildlife Centre (i recommend going it's really interesting).
My boyfriend (Joshuaaaa) took me there as a surprise and we spent the whole time taking loads of photos of the animals. Some i have not included are the dancing owl (he wiggled his bum when he was stroked), the badger who liked wrestling with a stick and poking his paw underneath the gate, the foxes who refused to have their photo taken and the red squirell that spent his whole time running backwards and forwards in the enclosure.

Overall, it was an amazing day and i hope to go another time on a slightly sunnier day but yeh you should all go because it was uber cool!

  • Listening to: Sun goes down
  • Watching: The entertaining laptop screen
  • Drinking: Saliva mmm

thank you :) i plan to, i'm hoping to save up for a new lens and look for some people willing to have their photo taken
thank you for the advice :)

yeah, a good lens can be expensive. my suggestion for portraiture would be to get a fixed focal length 35 or 50mm lens with a really wide aperture of like 1.8 or 2.7. fixed focal lengths deliver clearer images, and the wide aperture gives wicked background blur. it's a generic portrait lens, but if you spend right, you can find one that can be used for much more.
